  I joined Forster Yoga Studio for the Mum and Bubs Yoga classes when my baby Olivia was 6 weeks old. At this stage of her life Olivia she was a very unhappy irritable baby with reflux, and I was one tired, unmotivated, unenergised Mumma who for the most part avoided leaving the house. I was nervous on arriving to the first class- wondering how it would be if Olivia screamed the whole time, if she slept the whole time, or needed to feed- but from arrival I felt at ease and supported by Ashari and the other mothers. This calmness obviously overflowed to Olivia who was at her happiest and most relaxed each week during class. We learned exercises that would help calm her when she was at her most unhappy at home, and she loved looking at all the other little faces around the room, the singing and games. Yoga became a sanctuary for both of us each week- it strengthened our bond- and gave me the confidence to get out and about again. I don't think any other program would have had the same impact. It was great to dedicate the time to “just us” and no matter how tough the week may have seemed- it would all melt away by the end of a class. As I return to full time work with Olivia now 7.5months old I'm really sad to say goodbye for now. Olivia's grin and waving hands as we walk past the entrance to the studio proves she also will miss the time with her little friends. I recommend any Mum with their new little bundle to try baby yoga, or consider joining the 8pm classes from some “me” time.

  This place is nothing less than perfection. The space, the members and most importantly, the teachers are so supportive, calming and inspiring!

  what a fabulous experience at Forster Yoga. Mia and her team are amazing, friendly and professional. I went to Laura's class on Wednesday 12th July while up in Forster for a 2 day break from Sydney and it was such a beautiful, uplifting and inspiring yoga session. I wish I lived up there to be part of the Forster Yoga team every day. I will be back! Huge thank you to you all for being so nice and welcoming. You do a great job up there and I loved every moment of it. Jennifer Sydney :)
