  The chicken fajitas appeared to have no marinade - in any case it certainly was not a fajita seasoning. The meat was minced beyond belief.

  We have been to The Aztec a number of times, and have always been pleased. Since the last time we went The Aztec seems to have either joined a chain or become a franchise. Some of the meal was good, and the service was excellent, however, the fajitas we ordered bore little resemblance to what we had previously.

  We asked for mixed fajitas (we had always had them in the past), and where told they could not be mixed because the marinades were different. We had both anyway.

  Great place.Good environment right across from the lake. Great to hear good local and out of town music venues and have a great meal. Great for locals and visitors.

  All you could taste on the beef fajitas was BBQ sauce. As far as I am aware, BBQ sauce and Fajita seasoning have no common ingredients. The meat was also in chunks rather than strips, which made it a little chewy.

  What a gem of a place this is. Fantastic cocktails, great tasting food and service which we found to be second to none. All this and incredible value too! We had our young daughter with us and the lady made her an amazing mocktail also. We will be back on every visit to Forster. Hoghly recommend.

  Friendly, casual atmosphere informative & attentive staff without being in your face. Bottled beer prices a bit on the expensive side but overall worthwhile & I'd eat here again next time I'm in town

  Conclusion. What was once a good Mexican restaurant seems to have changed for the worse.
